Abstract

Kegiatan rekreasi menjadi kebiasaan masyarakat perkotaan saat ini untuk mendapatkan kesenangan. Kegiatan rekreasi ini meliputi kebiasaan untuk pergi bersama dan melakukan berbagai aktivitas seperti bermain, berbelanja, dan berinteraksi sosial. Palembang Unity Hub hadir sebagai tempat yang memfasilitasi ketiga aktivitas tersebut. Perancangan bertujuan untuk memadukan pola pergerakan dinamis yang mewadahi aktivitas rekreasi, belanja, dan interaksi sosial, serta menghasilkan tempat yang menyenangkan melalui penerapan elemen rekreatif. Perancangan Palembang Unity Hub terletak pada lokasi yang jauh dari kepadatan pusat perbelanjaan yang ada di Palembang saat ini. Hasil perancangan menghasilkan 3 massa bangunan, dengan blok A untuk kegiatan interaksi sosial, blok B untuk kegiatan rekreasi, dan blok C untuk kegiatan belanja. Ketiga massa bangunan terhubung dengan jalur sirkulasi berupa pedestrian dan sky bridge yang berada di tengah tapak dan terhubung dengan lift panorama sebagai pusat sirkulasi.
