Abstract

The study aims to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors of adolescents in participating and to find out efforts that can increase youth participation in the youth organization of Muara Penimbung Ulu village. This research is a qualitative research using observation, interview, and documentation methods. The informations in this study are village officials, the chairman of the youth organization, the core management of the youth organization, the members of the youth organization are inactive, and the parents of the youth organization. The data analysis techniques used in this study are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that there are there indicators that support the participation of adolescents in the youth organization, namely the existence of free time, the ability of adolescents to participate and design programs.
