Abstract

Academic procrastination is a problem that is often faced by many students, with detrimental consequences not only on academic achievement but also personal development. This study aims to develop e-booklet media as an effort to prevent academic procrastination in college students through group guidance services by using development research methods and using the ADDIE model. The e-booklet media was validated by media, language and material validators to ensure product feasibility before being implemented through three tests, namely individual trials (one-to-one), small groups (small groups) and field tests (field tests) which were tested on guidance and counseling students class of 2024. The results showed that the e-booklet media had met the validity criteria based on the assessment of media, language and material validators. The level of media practicality is also evidenced by the acquisition of one-to-one by 3 students obtained an assessment of 79% (practical category), small group trials by 5 students obtained an assessment of 90% (very practical category) and field test by 10 students obtained an assessment of 97% (very practical category). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the developed e-booklet media is valid and practical to be used as a means of preventing student academic procrastination in group guidance services.
