Abstract
This study aims to develop the Magnetic Numbers Book as a study aid for introducing number concepts to children aged 5-6 years, ensuring its validity and practicality. This research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), combined with Tessmer’s formative evaluation. Data collection techniques include walkthroughs and observations.In the expert review phase, the validation results from material experts reached 89% (categorized as highly valid), while validation from media experts scored 97% (categorized as highly valid), with an average validation score of 93% (highly valid). In the one-to-one evaluation stage involving three children, the observation results indicated a practicality score of 93% (highly practical), whereas in the small group evaluation stage with nine children, the observation score reached 97% (highly practical).Based on the research findings, the Magnetic Numbers Book is deemed highly valid and highly practical, making it suitable for use in the learning process for children aged 5-6 years.
