Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan video animasi pembelajaran berbasis Powtoon untuk siswa sekolah dasar (SD) pada materi wujud zat dan perubahannya, kemudian mendeskripsikan kevalidan dan kepraktisan dari media yang telah dibuat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE, yang mencakup tahap Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, dan Evaluate. Dalam penelitian ini, dilakukan validasi terhadap materi dan media, serta uji coba yang melibatkan 20 siswa kelas IV. Hasil validasi dari ahli media menunjukkan persentase nilai 100%, yang dikategorikan sebagai sangat valid. Sementara itu, validasi dari ahli materi memperoleh persentase nilai 94%, juga termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Pada uji coba lapangan, penilaian peserta didik terhadap media mencapai persentase 93,3%, yang dikategorikan sebagai sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media video pembelajaran telah memenuhi kriteria kelayakan, validitas, dan kepraktisan untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. The research follows the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. The study involved validating the content and media, followed by trials with 20 fourth-grade students. The validation results from media experts scored 100%, categorizing it as highly valid, while subject matter experts gave a score of 94%, also considered highly valid. In field trials, student assessments of the media reached 93,3%, indicating it is highly practical. Based on these findings, the animated learning video is valid, practical, and suitable for use in the learning process. Keywords: Learning Media, Powtoon, Science
