Abstract
This study aims to improve the logical-mathematical abilities of children aged 5-6 years through the media of the jumbo snakes and ladders game at TK Aisyiyah 12 Palembang. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) model Kemmis & McTaggart which consists of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The study lasted for one month with a collaborative approach between researchers and class teachers. Data were collected through observation and documentation, and analyzed to measure logical-mathematical indicators, such as number recognition, addition, subtraction, and reasoning. The results showed that the success rate of children's logical-mathematical abilities reached 18.5% in the category of developing according to expectations and 81.5% in the category of developing very well, before the action was carried out it reached 14.8% increasing to 29.6% in cycle l, and in cycle ll it increased to 81.5%. The increase is seen from the initial condition of the logical mathematical ability of children in TK Aisyiyah 12 Palembang which was at 58.8% increasing in cycle l to 62.8% and increasing in cycle ll to 83.4%. the use of the jumbo snake and ladder game can increase children's enthusiasm for learning, strengthen the understanding of basic mathematical concepts, and foster systematic thinking skills.
