Abstract

Equipment damage at PT. Titis Sampurna Prabumulih is one of the obstacles in managing petroleum and natural gas. Lack of knowledge owned by employees in handling the repair and maintenance of equipment can cause errors. Today, the process of sharing knowledge about solutions for tool repair is not yet effective, which is sometimes only done face-to-face. In this case it takes employees who are skilled in supervising the activities of petroleum and natural gas management also determine the right solution if there is damage to equipment while operating as well as knowledge documentation. Based on the research results to support the company's activities, the methodology used in this research refers to the knowledge management methodology developed by Amrit Tiwana. Therefore, knowledge management systems are applied using Case-based reasoning (CBR) and the K-Nearest of the algorithm based on the website. The system then has a module for employees to share knowledge, and seeks solutions to equipment problems while managing petroleum and natural gas.
