Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media buku bergambar yang valid dan praktis untuk menstimulasi kemampuan membaca anak usia 5-6 tahun di kelompok bermain Hubullah, kelurahan Timbangan, Indralaya. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan dan implementasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket validasi ahli media, ahli materi dan ahli bahasa, wawancara dan observasi. Hasil validasi produk media buku bergambar menunjukkan media termasuk kategori sangat valid, dengan persentase validasi media sebesar 85%, validasi materi sebesar 90%, dan validasi bahasa sebesar 90%. Selain itu, persentase hasil uji coba one to one sebesar 98% dan uji coba small group trial sebesar 98% sehingga termasuk kategori sangat praktis. Dengan demikian, media buku bergambar yang dikembangkan dinyatakan sangat valid dan praktis sehingga layak untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pendidikan anak usia dini untuk menstimulasi kemampuan membaca anak yang sesuai dengan karakteristik perkembangan anak.
