Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran quick on the draw berbantuan wordwall terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Indralaya Utara. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa akibat kurangnya variasi model dan media pembelajaran yang diterapkan di kelas. Sampel diambil dengan metode cluster random sampling sehingga diperoleh kelas X.3 sebagai sampel. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian quasi eksperimental design dengan bentuk one group pretest-posttest. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket motivasi belajar dan lembar observasi untuk menilai pelaksaan perlakuan. Sebelum uji hipotesis, dilakukan uji prasyarat normalitas data dan hasilnya data berdistribusi normal. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t (paired sample t-test) menunjukkan bahwa thitung (5,198) > ttabel (1,699) sehingga Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran quick on the draw berbantuan wordwall terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Indralaya Utara. Dengan demikin, penggunaan model pembelajaran quick on the draw berbantuan wordwall sangat disarankan untuk diterapkan oleh pendidik, mengingat peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa berkontribusi terhadap keberhasilan proses pembelajaran.
