Abstract

Until now, the management of official letter administration has faced numerous shortcomings, due to the administrative processes for assignment letters, director's decrees, leave permits, internal memos, and circular letters being managed and stored in separate document files. This makes it difficult to search for and update information, and increases the risk of errors in data management. The objective of this research is to implement a centralized official letter management system, in order to facilitate the storage, processing, and retrieval of official letter data. The benefit gained is to support the process of managing official letter data within the Perumda Tirta Lematang environment. This research adopts the Waterfall software development methodology, comprising the stages: Requirement Analysis, System Design, Implementation, Testing, and Maintenance. Based on testing using the black-box method, it can be concluded that the application functions properly and aligns with the established design.
