Abstract

This research aims to prove the influence of the Pancasila Student Profile Reinforcement Project (P5) within the Merdeka Curriculum on the development of disciplinary character among 11th-grade students at SMA Negeri 2 Indralaya Utara in the 2024/2025 academic year. This study employed a quantitative research method of the associative type with a causal relationship. The population for this research was 11th-grade students at SMA Negeri 2 Indralaya Utara. The sample consisted of 50 students, determined by purposive sampling based on their full participation in the P5 project implementation and a representative variation in their discipline levels. Data collection techniques included questionnaires and documentation. Instrument validity was tested using Pearson product-moment correlation, and reliability was tested using Cronbach's alpha formula. Data analysis techniques involved descriptive statistics, prerequisite tests, and hypothesis testing. The results show a positive and reciprocal relationship between the Pancasila Student Profile Reinforcement Project (P5) and the development of disciplinary character. The correlation coefficient was 0.4161, categorized as moderate, and the t-test yielded a tcount of 3.172, which is greater than or equal to the ttable of 1.667, leading to the rejection of H0 and acceptance of Ha. Based on the coefficient of determination, the Pancasila Student Profile Reinforcement Project contributes approximately 17.31% to the variation in disciplinary character development. Meanwhile, other factors outside P5 contribute 82.69% to character development. For future researchers, it's suggested to broaden the research sample and include other variables that also influence students' disciplinary character.
