Abstract

This research designs and implements a computer network bandwidth monitoring system using the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) integrated with Zabbix software. The main objective of this study is to assist network administrators in monitoring realtime bandwidth usage and responding to network issues swiftly through automatic notifications sent to Telegram. The methodology used is the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC), which covers the stages of needs analysis, system design, simulation using GNS3, implementation on Mikrotik routers, and notification integration. The results of the research demonstrate that the monitoring system based on Zabbix and SNMP can effectively visualize bandwidth data, detect disruptions, and send timely notifications to administrators. Therefore, this system is expected to enhance the efficiency and reliability of bandwidth management in computer networks
