Abstract

The problem that occurred in this study is that there are students who experience bullying behavior, the Guidance and Counseling teacher of SMP N 1 Tanjung Batu has also never provided bullying behavior prevention services using booklet media. This research aims to produce a product in the form of booklet media in an effort to prevent valid and practical bullying behavior. The type of research used is Research and Development which uses the ADDIE development model. The implementation of this media booklet is carried out in three stages, namely individual trials (one-to-one), small group trials, field tests which are tested on grade VIII students of SMP N 1 Tanjung Batu. The results of this study are in the form of a booklet media to prevent bullying behavior. The conclusion was obtained that the booklet media product in an effort to prevent bullying behavior has been declared valid and practically used as a learning medium based on the results of validation to expert validators with valid categories. The individual trial which was participated in by 4 students obtained a percentage of 95% in the category of very good or practical. The small group trial which was attended by 8 students obtained a percentage of 96% in the category of very good or practical. Meanwhile, the field trial which was attended by 31 students obtained a percentage of 96% with the category of very good or practical. Based on this research, it is hoped that the booklet media will be used as a reading reference to increase insight and knowledge about the prevention of bullying behavior.
