Abstract

Masyarakat di Desa Tridarmayoga Sebagian besar memiliki usaha sampingan menjadi petambak Udang Vaname yang kebanyakan masih menerapkan sistem tambak tradisional. Masyarakat lebih memilih tambak tradisional meskipun memiliki resiko besar dibandingkan tambak intensif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui laju pertumbuhan, hasil produksi, Survival Rate (SR), Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) dan kelayakan usaha pada tambak intensif Udang Vaname di Desa Tridarmayoga. Teknik yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling pada analisis kelayakan usaha dan pengambilan sampling udang dilakukan satu minggu sekali dengan 2 perlakuan padat tebar (a) 120 ekor/m2 dan (b) 160 eko/m2 dengan masing-masing 3 pengulangan. Hasil penelitian masing-masing tambak menunjukkan laju pertumbuhan bobot mutlak 10,8 g dan 9 g, pertumbuhan spesifik 4,13% dan 3,73% biomassa 785 kg dan 1307, Survival Rate (SR) 37% dan 48%, dan Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) 1,6 dan 1,3. Kelayakan usaha budidaya Udang Vaname di Desa Tridarmayoga dengan sistem intensif cukup layak untuk dengan R/C Ratio diperoleh nilai sebesar 1,05, keuntungan usahanya sebesar Rp 6.050.014 dan hasil BEP yang tidak melewati titik impas.
