Abstract

The budget planning and management mechanism at PT Pegadaian Regional Office III Palembang plays an essential role in ensuring optimal use of company funds. To enhance transparency and accuracy in financial management, PT Pegadaian implements an e-Budgeting system that allows for better budget control. This process begins with budget proposals from work units, followed by verification by the Finance Department, and final approval by regional leadership. Regular budget evaluation and monitoring are conducted to ensure alignment between planned and actual budgets. Although this system has improved financial management effectiveness, challenges such as economic uncertainty, regional cost differences, and changing budget needs still need to be addressed. Therefore, more flexible and adaptive planning strategies are required to maintain the company's long-term financial stability.
