Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of non-physical work environment and workload on the performance of Yamaha salesmen at PT Thamrin Brothers, Sako Branch. The research employs a quantitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data were collected through questionnaires using a saturated sampling technique, involving the entire population of 35 salesmen. Multiple linear regression analysis was used as the data analysis method. The findings indicate that the non-physical work environment has a positive and significant effect on the performance of Yamaha salesmen at PT Thamrin Brothers, Sako Branch. In contrast, workload has a negative and significant effect on their performance. These results suggest that improving the quality of the non-physical work environment may enhance employee performance, whereas excessive workload tends to diminish it. This study is expected to provide valuable input for the company in creating a more supportive work environment and in managing workload more proportionally.
