Abstract

The OP Field, located in the South Sumatra Basin, is one of the areas with hydrocarbon potential, particularly natural gas. The target zone of this study lies within the Baturaja Formation, which is known for its carbonate rocks with relatively high porosity and serves as one of the main reservoirs in the region. This study aims to analyze reservoir characteristics and identify the potential presence of hydrocarbons through the interpretation of seismic data and geophysical attributes. The approach involves examining amplitude anomaly responses in the target layer to understand the subsurface lithology and fluid content. Indications of hydrocarbon presence, especially gas, are identified in the form of significant amplitude anomaly zones, interpreted as bright spots. The study is expected to contribute to the mapping of prospective zones and serve as a reference for decision-making in future exploitation planning.
