Abstract
Engineered Cementitious Composite (ECC) merupakan material beton inovatif yang dirancang untuk memiliki sifat daktilitas tinggi dan ketahanan terhadap retak. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan performa mekanik Engineered Cementitious Composite (ECC) adalah dengan penambahan serat sintetis, baik jenis makro maupun mikro. Namun, masih diperlukan pemahaman lebih lanjut mengenai sejauh mana pengaruh jenis dan variasi persentase serat sintetis terhadap karakteristik mekanik Engineered Cementitious Composite. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh jenis dan variasi persentase serat sintetis terhadap terhadap karakteristik mekanik Engineered Cementitious Composite, khususnya dalam perilaku lentur. Metodologi yang digunakan berupa eksperimen laboratorium dengan variasi campuran tanpa serat, serat makro, dan serat mikro dalam persentase volume 0,75%, 1%, dan 1,25%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan serat sintetis, baik makro maupun mikro, secara umum meningkatkan karakteristik mekanik Engineered Cementitious Composite dibandingkan dengan Engineered Cementitious Composite tanpa serat. Serat makro memberikan peningkatan daktilitas dan toughness yang lebih tinggi, sedangkan serat mikro lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan kuat lentur dan menghasilkan retakan halus yang terdistribusi merata. Variasi 1,25% serat makro menghasilkan nilai toughness dan daktilitas tertinggi, sedangkan variasi 1% serat mikro menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kekuatan lentur. Dengan demikian, baik jenis maupun persentase serat berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku lentur Engineered Cementitious Composite.
