Abstract

ABSTRACT Administrative services in faculty study programs require an effective queuing system to improve service quality. This research focuses on designing a queue number printer system that supports six counters, aiming to speed up the service process, minimize waiting duration, and increase user satisfaction. The methods applied include user needs analysis, hardware and software development, and operational simulation testing. The system is equipped with the functions of printing numbers according to service categories, automatic distribution to active counters, and direct presentation of queue data. The design results show better queue management efficiency, with significantly reduced processing time compared to conventional methods. This study offers a practical solution for the optimization of faculty administration services and has the potential to be applied in other institutions with similar needs.
