Abstract

This research had designed hardware and software to visualise physical pendulum movement using PC-Link USB Smart I/O to compute its periode value and to determine the gravitation constant. Both of these values were saved in computer database using Microsoft Office Access. Visual basic 6.0 were utilised as GUI (Graphical User Interface ). 1 KΩ potentiometer was used as sensor while physical pendulum spesification were 1,049 Kg metal rod with 1,095 m length and 21 holes. The measurement test had been succesfull in computing, displaying and saving the values of pendulum periode and gravity constant,with periode value has error percentage range between 0,15 % until 2,17% and the average of error percentage 1,6088%. Beside that, gravitation value has error percentage range between 0,20% until 4,17% and the average of error percentage 1,33%
