Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi daya saing industri perkebunan kelapa sawit di Pulau Sumatera, dengan fokus pada harga CPO internasional, luas lahan perkebunan, dan nilai tukar. Data panel dari empat provinsi utama penghasil kelapa sawit (Sumatera Utara, Sumatera Selatan, Riau, dan Jambi) periode 2014–2023 dianalisis menggunakan regresi data panel dengan model Fixed Effect (FEM). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa Harga CPO internasional tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap daya saing. Luas lahan perkebunan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan. Nilai tukar (depresiasi rupiah) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan. Secara simultan, ketiga variabel berpengaruh signifikan terhadap daya saing. Implikasinya, perluasan lahan berkelanjutan dan pengelolaan nilai tukar menjadi kunci peningkatan daya saing, sementara fluktuasi harga CPO global tidak berdampak langsung di tingkat regional.
