Abstract
A device made with the aim t o facilitate and assist the work done by humans. The purpose of this study was able to design a simple tool that nut and fru.it peeler made based on pre-designed and can be used easily. In this study will also be conducted a simulation of the tools that have been created and analyzed a section that is considered instrumental tool i n order t o know that failure is likely t o occur. The analyzes were performed with the help of the Software using the Software autodesk inventor to obtain results that correspond to enter the input data including the modeling of the components to be analyzed, the type of material, boundary conditions and loading that occurred in this case that the author named these components with a paring knife betel nut and also screw feeder. Results from this study is a tool that has been so made and also the results of the analysis with the Software that is an idea visually on von mises stress and displacement that occur s in a paring knife and feeder screw due t o the forces acting, in which von mises maximum paring knife was 8.863 MP a and the displacement amounted to 0.04378 mm. So is the maximum von mises the screw feeder that is 19.91 MP a, and displacement that occurred at 0.08692 mm. Once the research is done i t is expected that the process that led to the failure of a paring knife or screw feeder can be minimized and also the tool can work better. In addition, this study also aimed to increase knowledge and skills in design and also create a tool that is simple and knowledge in the use of Software.
