Abstract

Gas turbine achive the power of turbine by utilizing heat energy of the gas ,which is convert kinetic energy into mechanical energy in the system. At this time the rest of the exhaust gases ffom the gas turbines are used by the Waste Heat Recovery Unit (WHRU) that produces steam to improve the efficiency. This study aims to determine the results of the eficiency such as the gas turbine , Waste Heat Recovery Unit (WHRU) and overall in PT.Pertamina Plaju - Sungai Gerong. The results were shown, the data of design and operational in PT.Pertamina was decreased in gas turbine (8,69 %),Waste Heat Recovery Unit (WHRU) (2.95 %) and overall (11,12 %). A result of efficiency in system gas turbines - on average 38,87% of operational data and using Waste Heat Recovery Unit (WHRU) efficiency increased to 78.01 % .
