Abstract
In the manufacturing industry composite material began to be lordely developed composite consits of two or more of one type of material designed to get the best characteristics of cach contituent component, for tensile test of carbon fiber composite lamina can be facilitated with the help of autodek inventor Software 2016. Simulation result have been done then simulated the maximum principal stress voltage in element 126 where the maximum voltage value with the value 45827,78 Ibf/in2, and the minimum principal stress in element 91 where the minimum voltage value is 15808,7 Ibf/in2, and in the simulated strain von mises the maximum strain simulation result that in element 46 shows the maximum strain value 17621,42 and minimum strain value 830586,84. From the simulation resut have been done using Software autodesk simulation mechanical 2016, with the result obtained through experimental testing that has a maximum voltage of263,38 Mpa,from the experimental testing through the Software can be obtained a percentage 19,9%, then the result ofvon mises stress safe enough because it’s far below the yield voltage of 50763,64 IbJ/in2 so tensile testing using autodesk mechanical simulation Software 2016 can shorthen the time in calculating the voltage.
