Abstract

The application of Occupational Safety and Health (OHS), especially in Indonesia, in developmenl projects or projects that are being carried out is still very minimal or still fairly ignored. This is of course because the parties contained in a project from high-ranking officials such as project leaders and employees such as manual laborers are still many who do not understand or realize the importance of existing Occupational Health and Safety. such as ignoring existing signs on the project and the incomplete Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn by each employee, a very clear PPE is the most important part of someone's Safety. In this research, the researcher vvill review and examine the application of the Occupational Safety Health System ffom identifying various possible aspects of an accident on a project. reviewing in terms of waming signs about OHS and the PPE on the project at the Harper Hotel Construction project in Palembang city. In this research, a review and identification of possible risks of workplace accidents will be conducted by interviewing workers, distributing questionnaires and observations. By distributing questionnaires distributed to project workers, conclusions can be drawn and risk assessments can be drawn from AS / NZS 4360: 2004, using the Likert Scale method and the SPSS program. From the results of data processing and overall results of the analysis of the research conducted with the help of interviews and questionnaires, obtained a percentage of 73.6% which is the Personal Protective Equipment which is the highest result, and obtained 58.6% which is the result of processing from a questionnaire variable entitled Disaster Management. With these results, it is necessary to have more supervision by the OHS on the project for all employees or workers, because there are still some things that need to be addressed so that all aspects are categorized both in the implementation of OHS.
