Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) menguraikan analisis kebutuhan guru dan siswa terhadap pengembangan media pembelajaran teks deskripsi berbasis Book Creator; (2) Menghasilkan rancangan pengembangan media pembelajaran teks deskripsi berbasis Book Creator; (3) Menguraikan hasil validasi ahli terhadap pengembangan media pembelajaran teks deskripsi berbasis Book Creator. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan modifikasi berdasarkan kebutuhan penelitian, yaitu kombinasi Borg dan Gall dengan Dick dan Carey. Data didapat melalui teknik wawancara dan angket. Model pembelajaran dikembangkan berdasarkan angket kebutuhan siswa kelas VII dan guru Bahasa Indonesia di SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Lubuk. Hasil uji validasi dilakukan oleh para ahli yang terdiri dari ahli materi, bahasa, dan media. Hasil persentase validasi yaitu, materi 95%, bahasa 82,5%, dan media 88,6%, dengan total rata-rata skor 88,7%. Berdasarkan hasil validasi yang telah dilakukan, E-Modul berbantuan aplikasi Book Creator pada materi teks deskripsi untuk siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Lubuk dinyatakan sangat layak untuk digunakan oleh siswa dan guru.
