Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan kurikulum Cambridge di Singapore Indonesian School Palembang, mencakup visi-misi, struktur kurikulum Cambridge, sistem penerimaan siswa dan guru, sistem penyampaian, sistem penilaian, dampak penerapannya, citra sekolah dan kesulitan yang dihadapi. Penelitian ini menerapkan desain penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Analisis data dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah menentukan jenis analisis yang digunakan, mengelompokkan data berdasarkan hasil wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, serta membuat hubungan antara kelompok data hasil wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sekolah memiliki visi-misi yang jelas, memiliki struktur kurikulum yang sebagian megacu pada kurkulum Cambridge, memiliki sistem peneriman siswa dan guru yang cukup mendukung pelaksanaan kurikulum Cambridge, menerapkan sistem penyampaian, pembelajaran dan penilaian yang efektif, dan memperoleh citra positif dari masyarakat, dan menghadapi sedikit kendala dalam penerapannya. Dari temuan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa sekolah belum sepenuhnya menerapkan kurikulum Cambridge.
