Abstract
Research on the manufacturing of permanent magnet NdFeB from based materials waste Jet Mill bonded NdFeB/Nd. Prepared based materials is done by using High Energy Milling (HEM) for 30 minutes then curing at a temperature 60 0C for 1 hours in the Under Vacum Dryer. Then mixing based materials with a mass 6 grams, 2 drops hardener and 4 %wt epoxy resin for later formed Cold Pressing was varied at 3 ton, 4 ton, 6 ton and 8 ton for 2 minutes with room temperature and then Annealing with temperature 100 0C for 1 hours. For characterized is done analysis Bulk Density , SEM/EDX, XRD, and Gaussmeter. Of the four variations of compaction pressure, the highest density is owned by pellet samples with 8 ton compaction pressures of 4,833 gr/cm3. The result of SEM/EDX is found that the microstructure is uneven, so there are still pores on the sample surface. As for the element content of Nd and Fe still dominate the particles with bright colors while on the particles with darker color content of C is more dominate. For XRD results it is found that the phase contained in the crystal structure there are 2 ie Nd2Fe14B and α-Fe. For the result of measurement of magnetic field strength by using gauss meter, the strongest magnetic field strength is found in 8 ton samples.
