Abstract
Development of teaching material in acid base solution based on learning model cycle 7e had been conducted and implemented in XI MIA class of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang. This research was conducted by ADDIE design and formative evaluation Tessmer method. The validity of teaching material is assessed by three experts that materials expert, pedagogical expert, and design expert. The validity of material is 3.81 which categorized as very valid, the validity of pedagogical value is 3,30 which categorized as very valid, and the validity of design is 3.20 which categorized as valid. Practicality this teaching material seen from the average score questionnaire in one-to-one or small group phase. In one-to-one phase, score practicallity is 3.53 which categorized as very practical and in small group, score practicallity is 3.85 which categorized as very practical. The effectiveness of this teaching material looks from test study implemented at field test phase. Based on this test, score gain is 0.69 which categorized as moderate. This indicates that the teaching material is effective for used in acid-base learning solution.
