Abstract

University of Sriwijaya discount two different campus locations, at a considerable distance. Therefore, it needs adequate transportation services for students Sriwijaya University, one bus Transmusi. With the number of users, information about bus Transmusi greatly needed by the student. But there is no system to regulate the provision of information on bus Transmusi in scope Sriwijaya University. Given the lack of it in this final project will be designed a system that can provide information directly to the user. The development of the technology on mobile devices with the Android OS can provide solutions to the lack of information on bus Transmusi. The information given will be the availability of buses each day (schedule), seat reservation and tracking in real time bus information. The method will be used in the system design is the author of the FAST method. This method analyzes the problems with 8 different stages and also strengthened with SWOT analysis, framework and method PIECES 5 W + 1H. Framework on Transmusi bus information system design uses androidstudio. Results in the form of mobile applications get bus information system Transmusi in scope Sriwijaya University. In blackbox testing against the system that will be used by administrators, officials and users can be concluded system designers work according to expectations. Applications can be downloaded on the website transmusi.96.lt. Transmusi bus information system based on Android in the scope of Sriwijaya University is beneficial for students to find out information about the bus Transmusi.
