Abstract

The objective of this study is to know the compentency of PPKn teachers in implementing lesson plan based on the Curriculum 2013 in SMP Negeri Palembang city. This research uses a qualitative approach. The population in this research is 155 of PPKn teachers in SMP Negeri Palembang city. Samples are taken by using purposive sampling technique with the total of them six PPKn teachers. Data collection techniques use are documentation, interview and observation. Data analysis technique uses is qualitative description through reduction, display and verification data. The validity data are taken through credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability tests. Based on the result of analysis and discussion toward data of study is known that the teachers competency in implementing lesson plan based on Curriculum 2013 in SMP Negeri in Palembang city is good. The percentage show eighty four point five nine percents (84,59%). It meant that the teachers can implement lesson plan based on curriculum 2013 in learning process.
