Abstract

This research is meant to fine out how the effectiveness of payroll accounting system at PT. Indonesian Port II Palembang. The descriptive which is done by using the qualitative approach is used as the research method. The informants of this research are the leader and management team of financial cooperative. The data collection technique has been done by observation, interview and documentation analysis. The data analysis technique has been done by organizing the data, data analysis proses and conclusion. The result of the research shows that PT. The Indonesian Port II Palembang has not used a special payroll system, it is still done manually by using the Excel programe. In general, the payroll internal control system, PT. The Port of Indonesia II Palembang runs accordance with the elements of internal control and supporting facilities for internal control.
