Abstract
The problem of bullying in individuals is inseparable from the factors related to the bullying behavior. Oppression can cause victims to be inferior, and easily anxious, whereas in trials it will make aggressive violations. This study discusses the factors associated with bullying behavior at SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Agung. The design of this study used a correlative descriptive design with cross sectional discussion. The research sample was taken with a simple random sampling technique totaling 258 students of SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Agung. Data is collected by distributing questionnaires. The test carried out was an alternative Fisher test with α = 0.05 (for bullying status variables in the family, bullying status at school and peers) and the Pearson Chi-Square alternative test (parenting variables and self-control). The results showed a relationship that was described between the status of intimidation in the family with bullying behavior (p-value = 0.001), bullying status at school with bullying behavior (p-value = 0.001), peer interaction with bullying behavior (p-value = 0.001 ), parenting with bullying behavior (p-value = 0.001), and self-control with bullying behavior (p-value = 0.001). From this research it is hoped that all related parties can help each other minimize the intimidation behavior posed well for the safety of victims Keywords : bullying, family factors, school factors, peer influence, patterns foster, self control Bibliography : 65 (1971-2019)
