Abstract

The advance technological development in this globalisation era has given many positive impacts on the development in various aspects. In the last few years, automation has been a fundamental process in industry, because it increases the quality and reduces the time spent to finished the job and did it with minimum amount of human intervention. One of the most used technologies in industry is camera Based on a few previous researches that the writer read and studied, the writer concludes that color detection using MATLAB as base to process it requires long computing time, and there is the vulnerability of the RGB value that changes due to light factors. Therefore, the writer decided to make a system with shorter computing time and stable light to preserve the color values. The research of design canned beverage sortir with camera and color detection has a few objectives, such as to find out the effects of light on the sorting process of canned beverage, and to gather the knowledge of optimal accuracy in canned beverage sortir. From the reasearch of design canned beverage sortir with camera and color detection, it has been known that light is very influential in the sorting process, the value of light that does not match will affect the value of light that is gathered in the sorting process.
