Abstract

This study use a descriptive techique which aims to determine student achievement on the material pattern of number after using realistic mathematics education approach (PMRI). The sample of the study was students of class VIII.A SMP Srijaya Negara, with among of 26 students. The learning process was carried out in accordance with Realistic Mathematics Education approach. The data collection techniques used test. Based on an analysis of student answers, student achievement are categorized “sufficient” as following: the percentage of students who have very good grades is 7,69 %, the percentage of students who have good grades is 15,38%, the percentage of students who have sufficient grades is 19,24%, the percentage of students who have less value is 30,77%, and the percentage of students who have very little value is 26,92%. With the average of student learning outcomes 47,44 for sufficient category.
