Abstract
This research aims to find out the effect of the implementation of cooperative script model towards students? learning achievement of the class X at SMA Negeri 3 Tanjung Raja. The method of this research is quasi-experimental which use nonequivalent control group design. This research?s variable consist of independent variable and dependent variable. The independent variable in this research is cooperative script model whereas the dependent variable is students? achievement in learning chemistry. The population of the study is the entire class X at SMA Negeri 3 Tanjung Raja and the samples are class X2 as treatment group and class X3 as control group. The data are collected by using test, the posstest average of experiment group is 75,81 and the control group is 61,04. The obtained data are analyzed by right tail t-test, the significant degree on 5% with the rejection criteria of H0 if tcalculation ? ttable, the result tcalculation = 6,409 is bigger than ttable, so H0 is rejected. The result shows the implementation of cooperative script has taken good and significant effect towards students? achievement in learning chemistry of students in class X at SMA Negeri 3 Tanjung Raja
