Abstract
Steganography is a technique for hiding messages so only the sender and certain authorities know the message exist. At this time, steganography can be applied to the computer field as a method to secure a files and hiding secret messages into media images of sound files, video files, and others. This study aims to hide text files into digital images by using the Adaptive Minimum Error Least Significant Bit Replacement method and the Enigma Encryption Algorithm. Tests carried out with a total of 10 digital image data with dimensions 2448 * 2448, it can be seen that the Enigma Encryption Algorithm and the AMELSBR Method succeeded in carrying out the results of the analysis comparison with PSNR. The Enigma Encryption Algorithm can encrypt the text file well using symmetryc enigma key codes with a scale range of keys 0-255. AMELSBR method can insert text files that have been encrypted into digital images properly and the results of images before and after encryption the results are still the same as the original image.
