Abstract

Robot arms in the modern era have many uses in various fields. One of them is for industrial use. The robotic arm to be used will be combined with image processing so that it can be moved automatically. Can be moved automatically can be used for the 5 Dof automatic robotic arm system for garbage collectors. The image processing used this time is the HSV Algorithm (Hue, Saturation, Value) to detect garbage and the SIFT algorithm to detect water hyacinth. In the detection of waste using the HSV Algorithm obtained 100 percent where there are 4 garbage samples that can be detected by utilizing trashold garbage. To detect garbage, it is done by using the SIFT algorithm which gets 40 percent of the success of 10 experiments. As well as the merging of the robot arm that moves automatically with the HSV algorithm, 60 percent of the successes of the 10 experiments were obtained.
