Abstract
Induction motor is the most widely used (AC) electric motor in the industry and household. Induction motors are divided into two types that are three phases and one phase, 3 phase induction motor has a capacity greater than in one phase, by the Seba is used in the industry. Single-phase induction motors are often widely used on household needs as a water pump, washing machine, angina fan, in operation one phase induction motor is often outgrow the overload. And the treatment is so less noted that the motor is experiencing excessive heat but still used for daily use. Consequently, one phase induction motor so one way to repair it by rewinding stator coil. Not all diameter of wire size available in the market, so choose the diameter that is close to the actual. Emerging new participants on the motor is that the operation can not last long because of the heat on the winding of the roll, therefore it should be done research on the influence of the broad cross-section of the value of Cos phi on one phase motor, from the results Testing of the study is obtained on a diameter of 0.35 mm wire area of 0.096 and active power 212 p Cos Phi 0. 73 φ. In the diameter of the wire 0.55 occurs a broad cross-section 0.237 , and active power 183 p obtained Cos phi 0.45 φ with an angle of 302.80 Var, based on it can be inferled by the conclusion of the broad cross section which occurs affecting the performance of motor induction.
