Abstract

The purpose of this research is to prove the correlation between the participation of school cooperative management and entrepreneurial spirit in SMK Negeri 1 Palembang. This type of research is correlation with the form of interactive relationships. The subjects in this research were all administrators of school cooperatives in SMK Negeri 1 Palembang, amounting to 16 people. Data collection techniques used were questionnaire, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques used were questionnaire and observation data analysis. Hypothesis testing used parametric statistics with the product moment correlation formula with the acquisition of a value of 0.94 where the level category was a very strong correlation. The contribution of school cooperative management to the entrepreneurial spirit is 88.36%, which means that 11.64% relates to other variables obtained from the calculation of the determinant coefficient. Thus it can be concluded that there is a correlation between the participant of school cooperative management and the entrepreneurial spirit in SMK Negeri 1 Palembang. It is recommended to increase the entrepreneurial spirit of students through active involvement in the management of school cooperatives both in the service of cooperative members and the administration of school cooperatives.
