Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis seberapa besar pengaruh motivasi terhadap kinerja agen di PT. Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) Cabang Palembang. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh jumlah agen di PT. Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) Cabang Palembang yang berjumlah 39 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dari penelitian ini menggunakan sampling jenuh (sensus), dengan demikian sampel penelitian ini adalah seluruh agen di PT. Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) Cabang Palembang sebanyak 39 orang.. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh melalui kuisioner dan metode analisis regresi sederhana sebagai teknik analisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara motivasi terhadap kinerja agen. Bagi perusahaan disarankan untuk meningkatkanUmotivasi yangUlebih tinggi bagi agennya agar tercipta kinerja yang lebih baik.
