Abstract

In this current reginal autonomy era local goverments need a substantial funds tofinance the goverment in implementing regional development through revenue (PAD) which is a source of revenue. The objective of research is to understand the effectiveness and contribution effectiveness of local taxes to PAD. The data used in this study is time series from the district/city government Ex-Palembang City taken between 2015-2018. While research is descriptive reserch and here is the analysis of primery data. Data obtained from Management Agency Local Tax The City Of Palembang. The Result of research indicates that local taxes in Ex-Palembang City have quite great potential. The average effectiveness rate of local tax to Local Genuine Income 2015-2018 is 101,21%.. The average effectiveness rat of local tax to Local Genuine Income 2015-2018 is 63,35%. The average effectiveness rate of the local Geninue Income 2015-2018 is 94,46%. The average contribution rate of local tax to Local Genuine Income 2015-2018 is 68,03%.
