Abstract

Technological developments in the era of globalization are increasing the dissemination of information to the wider community. For the sake of information disclosure, the government then builds e-government, which is to spread information to the public through the government's official website on the internet about government and the state. With the official website of the government, the public can find out information about the government agency. The government website is of course part of management so that it can be maximized as well as possible. The background of this research are some of the unquestioned issues which must be discussed in the public information disclosure law number 14 of 2008. The purpose of this study is to obtain information about information delivery on the website of the Regional Planning and Development Agency of South Sumatra Province. Then to get the results of the study, in this study used the management theory of George R. Terry (2006: 342) which says that good management involves four unnecessary things that need planning, organizing, directing, and controlling. Based on the results of data analysis obtained through interviews and observations it can be concluded that the management of the delivery of information on the website of the Regional Planning and Development Agency of South Sumatra Province has run well. However, the shortcomings in this website are the lack of training provided to the employees who manage the website.
