Abstract

Air akan lebih bermanfaat apabila jumlahnya cukup sesuai kebutuhan namun akan berdampak buruk bila jumlahnya berlebihan seperti dapat menyebabkan bencana alam. sumatera selatan termasuk daerah yang mengalami musim penghujan oleh karena itu diperlukan alat pengukur ketinggian air. Penelitian ini melakukan pengukuran resistansi kayu gelam yang dimodifikasi berdasarkan perubahan ketinggian air berbasis mikrokontroler arduino uno. Kayu dimodifikasi dengan menambahkan lilitan kawat disepanjang kayu dan diberi kawat listrik di kanan kirinya. Alat yang dibuat menggunakan rangkaian jembatan wheatstone dengan prinsip pembagi tegangan dan modul ADS 1115 16 bit ADC sebagai konversi data analog ke digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur perubahan resistansi kayu seiring bertambahnya ketinggian air. Hasil dari pengukuran di tampilkan pada lcd dalam bentuk nilai tegangan dengan resolusi 0,5 volt serta memiliki akurasi 99,24537% dan resolusi sebesar 99,83245%.
