Abstract
The purpose of this research is to assess the effectiveness of recruitment and training program applied by PT.Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang based on the theory of effectiveness employee recruitment and training program, and give a recommendation for the weaknesses found on the implementation of the recruitment and training program at PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang as well. The data used in this research are primary data and the data analysis technique used is the descriptive analysis. The methods that are used to collect the data are documentation and interview. During the research, researcher has done some assessment, preface audit, review of management controlling system, and advanced audit. Based on the research, researcher has found some audit findings which shows that the recruitment program has been able to produce the qualified employees and has been agreed with the qualification that the company desired but it hasn't been able to hire the employees based on the company requirement plan of PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang. The training program has been implemented effectively. The weakness of the training program is that the evaluation ot the training result isn't tota'fly applied to art of the training types.
