Abstract

This study aims lo find out how the process ofplanning and controlling cost of human resources conducted by the SumselBabel Bank. Research results show that the planning of human resource costs in terms of budgetary cost of human resources at Sumse/Babel Bank has adopted the principle ~f participation, as seen from the coordination between human resources functions in cooperation with strategic planning division as well as parts, units, other branches. .Meanwhile, human resources cost controlled by the Bank SumselBabel since the commence men/ of the implementation of procurement/ recruitment of staff Form of control human resouces costs by comparing budget with actual costs for personnel costs. In addition, the SumselBabel Bank implement the budget June/ions as a means of planning and controlling with a realization of the budget has made a report which became_ the basis or guideline in planning and budgetwy control iJT the year - next year. Based on the analysis, the authors suggested thal the cost of human resources managemenr has been done by the Sumse!Babel Bank should be improved in considering that estimates used in planning cosls for personnel and recommended that prt'pared 1he report fur all the variance occurred, whether the variance is still within reasonable limils and variances ihat occur vutside the houndaries of reasonableness in order lo follow-up to assess 1he effecfiw ness cf correctire action
