Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of student discipline to discipline in class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Indralaya Utara. This research is a survey research. Data collection techniques in this study used a disciplinary questionnaire based on disciplinary factors obtained from discipline at SMP Negeri 2 Indralaya Utara namely, compliance, sincerity and regularity. The population in this study was grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Indralaya Utara with a total of 54 students and the entire population was sampled (total sampling). Data analysis techniques using the percentage formula. The results showed that the level of student discipline in discipline VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Indralaya Utara was in the "high" category of 27.77%, "moderate" of 42.60%, and "low" of 29.63%. Based on the average value of 114,430, it can be concluded that the level of discipline of students towards discipline in class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Indralaya Utara is in the "medium" category.
