Abstract
This study aims to determine the level of self-regulation learning in class VIII students at Junior High School 17 Palembang. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire. The population in this study was 256 students, sampling using the Slovin formula so that 72 students were taken by 9 people from each class VIII randomly. Then the data is analyzed using the percentage formula (%). The results showed a tendency that students already have self-regulation learning with the percentage of categories (41%) and moderate categories (50%). It can be interpreted that many students are able to regulate thoughts, behavior, and emotions in achieving optimal learning goals.
