Abstract

This research is a type of development research that aims to produce printed material based on local wisdom in Palembang, the theme of my hero. The object in this study were students of the IVB class1 Palembang Elementary school, totaling 24 students consisting of 9 male students and 15female students. This development research uses the ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation). Data was collected using several methods, namely validation sheets, questionnaires, interviews, small group test questionnaires and learning outcomes tests. Expert test carried out by material experts, language and learning design. The results of the validation of the teaching materials produced meet the validation requirements according to thematic learning and student characteristics. Research shows that in the small group test, the Gain value which is the result of Spost - Spre divided by Smax - Spre shows a result of 0,80 while inthe field test the gain value is 0,71 and both are interpreted high. Small group questionnaires show effectiveness of 89,9% and are strengthend by interviewing students in stage one to one. So the researchers concluded that the teaching material products had been developed welland walidly and could be used in elementary school.
