Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of students in class III SDN 139 Palembang uses the Teams Games Tournament model on the theme of Kewajiban dan Hakku. This research uses aclass action research method which is conducted in three cycles. Every the stages of the cycle include planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Collection technique the data used are test and observations. The subject in this study were class students III SDN 139 Palembang with a total of 27 students consisting of 13 male students and 14 female students. The results of this study indicate that mastery learning has been completed students in cycle 1 amounted to 58%. In cycle II completeness of student learning outcomes increased by 62,96%. In cycle III completeness learning outcomes of students increased by 88,8%. From the results of observation, the activeness of students has increased, in cycle 1 the percentage of activeness of students reached 67,17% with the category of quite active, in cycle II the percentage of students activeness wa 72,15% with an active enough category, in cycle III an increase of 83,23% with the active category. So it can be concluded that Teams Games Tournament model can improve the learning outcomes of students in grade III SDN 139 Palembang on the theme of Kewajiban dan Hakku.
